Mr Panos Liantis is Consultant Spinal and Orthopaedic Surgeon at Guy’s and St Thomas' Hospital. He is UK fellowship trained in orthopaedic and neurosurgical spinal surgery at Great Ormond Street Hospital, Guy's and St Thomas' Hospital and The National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery UCL.

Mr. Liantis has experience in the management of low back pain, sciatica (leg pain), injection therapies for low back and leg pain ( facet joint injections, nerve route blocks, epidural injections, radiofrequency denervation), lumbar and cervical disc degeneration ( disc replacement), adult and paediatric spinal deformities, scoliosis, kyphosis, tumours, spinal trauma, osteoporotic fractures, vertebroplasty and kyphoplasty. Mr. Liantis has special interest in Complex Spinal Surgery and minimal access techniques (MIS TLIF, XLIF) and receives a large number of tertiary referrals for primary and revisional problems.

Mr. Liantis has a PhD in Orthopaedics and Bachelor in Educational Studies. He has also been interested in research and has published in peer reviewed orthopaedic and spinal journals. He is the lead clinician of the fellowship program of the complex spinal surgery at Guy's and St Thomas' Hospital and is involved in the teaching of undergraduate medical student and postgraduate clinical doctors at King’s College.
He is a member of the British Association of Spine Surgeons (BASS), AO Spine Foundation, The North American Spine Society (NASS), The Society of Lateral Access Surgery (SOLAS®) and Spinal Research Group at GSTT.

He speaks English, German and Greek.
